Russia ready to help Africa develop technologies for growth – trade envoy.

Russia stands ready to support African nations in developing technologies for self-sufficiency, ensuring technological sovereignty and managing continental data systems.

“Africa is resource-rich. Yet today, data has become the most valuable resource. Russia isn’t proposing to exploit this data, but rather to develop technologies enabling Africa to manage it independently. The digital industry’s future is being shaped now, and Russia is emerging as one of its key architects. We offer not just software products, but a complete ecosystem of digital solutions ensuring technological sovereignty and sustainable growth,” the trade envoy emphasized..

Among solutions Russia can provide are digital transformation projects, so-called “smart city” development, along with systems for public administration, financial services and business operations. Priority areas include cybersecurity, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, automated control systems, telecommunications and transport infrastructure development.
